Theme: Be'you'tiful
This annual Retreat is held at the Heaton Lodge in Alton.
All YW in the stake are invited to attend, along with their mothers. It begins
with a craft - this year Chris Maxwell demonstrated how to make t-shirt
headbands, Jael Chamberlain taught anyone interested how to make duct tape
roses on the end of a pencil and there was also a selfie photo both for
pictures. Soup and homemade bread was served for dinner and then Bro. Brian
& Sis. Shaina King spoke about worth and then Bro. King played the guitar
and sang 'Glorious' by David Archuletta. Dessert was enjoyed before everyone
went to bed. The following morning breakfast was served followed by a
morningside presented by Sis. Betty Chamberlain. Pictures of the YW and their
mothers were taken the previous night and inserted along with various temple
pictures and set to the song 'Try' by Colbie Caillat. The YW sang the song
'Beautiful to Him' as a reminder of their worth and that they truly are
beautiful to their Savior.
