Although the old stake center will be torn down to make way for the new one, the older part will be remodeled and the exterior restored, minus the original steeple.
Stairs and an entrance will be restored to the south side and the east door will also be added, much as it was originally. The interior, however, will be different, as it will serve a different purpose. Stake offices will be below and the family history center will be on the top floor, along with a museum/information area.
The new building will have the red rock along the bottom to match the 1924 building and the steeple will have the clock faces that are in our current steeple.
