GLENDALE WARD HISTORY

Vivian Brinkerhoff went back to her heavenly father on January 6.  She will truly be missed as she was an important contribution to the earth and to our ward.
February 15 the 13 year old scouts went on a campout in Johnson’s canyon with leaders Kyle Spencer and Tyler Baird.  They explored while filling scout requirement for badges and had a wonderful time.
The sweetheart ball was a success as the stake came together as couples and friends.  All in the ward that attended appreciate the stake putting this together.  For many it is the only time they go out for dinner and dancing throughout the year.
In March Chance Spencer received his Mission call.  He will be serving in Independence, Missouri and leaving on July 9th.
In April we had 6 missionary’s out.  Sister Mary Christina Cox in the Phillippines San Pablo Mission.  Elder Chase Spencer in Bonne Terre, Mo mission.  Elder Brent Kasen Palmer in Gamberg Germany.  Elder and Sister Brinkerhoff in Arlington, Washington.  Elder Lance Maxwell in Ohio Cleveland Mission.  Elder Shay Lam in Bryan, Texas.
We topped off the year with a ward family home evening on December 23 in the social hall.  There was a slide show made by Myrna Cox of members of the ward.  There was also goodies and it was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

Enclosed you will see pictures and comments by the leaders of the ward and ward members containing the many things done this year.
